ESTuaire Condos in Pointe-aux-Trembles - and we're off!
Montreal, September 13, 2016 - On Wednesday, September 14th a ceremony will kick off construction of ESTuaire condos in Pointe-aux-Trembles. The first two phases will be inaugurated during an official cocktail event where representatives and developers will break ground at the project site, located at the corner of Sherbrooke East and the 81st Avenue. "It's a big day for us and for Pointe-aux-Trembles, which hasn't been home to a residential project of this scale in a long time," said Pierre Rhainds, President of Planorco. Planned in four phases of 54 condos each, ESTuaire is a magnificent project located next to Parc de la Coulée-Grou. The project offers 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units, two-floor units, and a variety of floor plans to meet all client needs. The units feature spacious interiors with bright over-sized windows, materials that reflect the latest design trends, and detailed finishes. The concrete buildings will include elevators and offer a range of services: a complete Nordic spa (spa, sauna, pool, treatment room and massage therapy), our "sky lounge" rooftop relaxation space (reception room and patio equipped with modern furniture and a barbecue), as well as a gym, guest suite and shuttle service to Point-aux-Trembles Station. Planorco aims to offer future ESTuaire residents an unparalleled living experience. Key Partnerships ESTuaire can count on highly competent financial partners; Claridge and Ivanhoé Cambridge, who recently partnered together for a new investment vehicle, have joined the ESTuaire project. Managed by Claridge Real Estate and led by Wayne Heuff, this partnership, announced on May 18, 2016, aims to support private property developers in mid-sized real estate projects in the Greater Montreal area. These renowned partners will be key drivers in the ESTuaire project, and will also help promote residential development in the east of the island and stimulate the Montreal economy. ESTuaire is an important, innovative project led by local developers?exactly the type of project targeted by the Claridge/Ivanhoé Cambridge partnership. It is worth noting that as a real estate subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Ivanhoé Cambridge invests in real estate internationally and holds interests in close to 500 properties. About Planorco While Planorco, an acronym formed from "planning, organization and construction", is a new name on the Montreal scene, its President, Pierre Rhainds, has a wealth of experience in the construction industry. With over 25 years of working as a vice-president and project manager, Rhainds ran numerous construction sites and supervised construction of hundreds of residential units before founding Planorco in 2014.
